Welcome to our fun side project…producing a play for the 2017 San Diego International Fringe Festival!
Deirdre wrote the script for “Please Take a Seat” – and will be playing the main role – for the festival’s five performances. Jay will act as stage manager and technical director. The play is directed by Jennifer Eve Thorn.
What’s this show about? Here’s a summary:
It’s fascinating, what you discover about people in a waiting room. Especially when things get awkward. Hannah’s life is all about being in control…until it’s not. A bit dark, a bit funny, and more than a bit compelling, come and take your seat for one offbeat journey.
Performances will be held at the SDAI Project Space at 141 Horton Plaza (next to Victoria’s Secret). You can catch the show at the following times:
- Friday, 6/23: 9:00pm
- Saturday, 6/24: 4:00pm
- Sunday, 6/25: 10:30pm
- Tuesday, 6/27: 6:00pm
- Sunday, 7/2: 6:00pm
